CarFax is a provider of vehicle history reports in the automotive industry for any vehicles manufactured after 1981. These reports offer comprehensive information about the history of a specific vehicle, including details about its past ownership, maintenance records, accident history, title issues, and more. It gives users a lot of details including if an airbag was ever deployed, the type of use for the vehicle, whether safety inspections were conducted and what states or provinces it was owned in. It can prevent companies from buying the wrong by helping them avoid false information and manipulation. CarFax obtains this information from various sources, including government agencies, insurance companies, auto repair facilities, and other data providers.
We wrote a Spring Boot adaptor between requests in Polonious for Vehicle history and CarFax’s internal API. This returns a detailed car history as a PDF, textual information or both and adds them straight onto the case with a simple button click in Polonious.
